Peter Butler- CEO and President of Contractor Management Inc. (CMI)

University of Maryland 1982: Kinesiology

After college, he worked as a motorcycle courier for 6 years for Metropolitan Messenger.  After riding as a full-time courier, Mr. Butler moved into dispatch where he worked for 5 more years dispatching over 450 on-demand deliveries per day.

From there he was hired on as General Manager for Washington Express Delivery where he took their company along with 43 other companies through an IPO of same-day delivery companies, DMS Incorporated. After 2 years of consulting in the field, Mr. Butler and Edward Emerson founded Contractor Management Incorporated.

Mr. Butler is involved with coaching 3 different athletic teams for his son's school and community Boys and Girls Club.

Mr. Butler purchased CMI from his partner of then-13 years and began Butler-for-a-Day as a sideline to the Driver Placement. 

With over 30 years of experience in the Delivery/ Driver placement industry, Mr. Butler brings a full range of skills to CMI and in turn, his clients.

Tom Kim - Marketing/Sales Representative

Mr. Kim was recently a sales associate for a fortune 200 company known as Aflac Insurance. He has been in the courier business for over 5 years working for a number of different companies in the DC, MD, and VA areas; learning the ins and out of the business. He was also a Field / Sales Representative for 5 years with various business equipment / copier companies. He also worked for Nielsen TV ratings for 5 years, interacting with many diverse people in DC, MD, VA, PA, DE, NJ, and WV areas. He has been awarded many quality control and customer service awards. Graduate of TESST College of Technology, and was a recipient of the Presidents Club award for outstanding academics.
